Epidemiologic studies have revealed the pathogenic properties of M. bovis in cattle. M. bovis is one of the pathogens responsible for mastitis in the cow, and otitis, pneumopathy and polyarthritis in the calf. M. bovis is also involved in abortion. Serodiagnosis is a valuable tool to diagnose M. bovis infections since immune response is early, important, stable, and persistent in time.
Kernel M.Bovis Ab. ELISA is an immunoenzymatic assay for the detection of antibodies against Mycoplasma bovis (M.bovis) in bovine serum and milk.
